About the Event
YOUR ART HERE is Billund’s smallest art gallery, featuring artworks made by children and young people from Billund. Located in the Frirum, YOUR ART HERE is open to the public every day and the exhibitions can be seen and enjoyed as part of a walk on the Playline in Billund.
From 27th March to 30th July, the new exhibition programme features three new works, by two young artists:
· 27.3 – 23.4 ‘Among Us Plushies’ by Rosaline
· 24.4 – 18.6 ‘The Whale in the Sea’ by Lilly
· 19.6 – 30.7 ‘Dog in Slovenia’ by Rosaline
In ‘Among Us Plushies’, Rosaline has created an inventive and fun, mixed media sculpture of Among Us characters, that she sewed herself. The artwork on display is a photograph of the original sculpture. Her second piece, ‘Dog in Slovenia’ is an acrylic and watercolour painting on a circular canvas, inspired by her own dog.
Lilly’s ‘Whale in the Sea’ painted in rich blues and greens, is a harmonising combination of subject and materials, where watercolours are used to enhance the feeling of being surrounded by sea.
